Fund mergers in Danske Invest funds
The mergers approved by the Financial Supervisory Authority will take effect on November 20, 2024. The mergers do not require any action from the unit holders.
Danske Invest Fund Management Ltd. is seeking to streamline its selection of funds registered in Finland. Danske Invest intends to increase the average size of the managed funds by decreasing the number of funds that customers have shown less interest in. The aim is to improve efficiency both in administration and in portfolio management.
On 22 August 2024, the Financial Supervisory Authority gave its approval for the implementation of the merger plans concerning a total of two mergers. In line with the merger plans, the funds will merge on 20 November 2024 with the acquiring funds. See table below.

Unitholders are not required to take any action in connection with these mergers, and the mergers will not give rise to tax consequences for unit holders generally liable to pay tax in Finland.
Starting from 16 October 2024 the unitholders of the involved funds are entitled to redeem or switch their units to units in another fund managed by Danske Invest Fund Management Ltd. free of charge by submitting an order no later than on 19 November 2024 before the cut-off set out in the funds’ regulations. The redemption and switch will entail the normal tax consequences for unitholders generally liable to pay tax in Finland.
