Amendments to investment policy and fund-specific regulations
In its meeting on 4 June 2020, the Board of Directors of Danske Invest Fund Management Ltd decided to amend the fund-specific regulations, investment policy and benchmark index of the Danske Invest Euro High Yield Fund. The Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority confirmed the amended regulations on 1 October 2020. The amended regulations will be valid as of 9 November 2020.
The investment strategy of the fund will be amended so that in the future, the issuer of the fund’s investment object must have a positive or positively developing environmental, social and governance (ESG) profile. In the future, the ESG criteria will also be used when evaluating the risks and opportunities of an investment object, in addition to financial criteria. In addition, investments in certain sectors classified as harmful will be avoided altogether.
With the entry into force of the regulation amendment, the name and benchmark index of the fund will change. In the future, the name of the fund will be Danske Invest Euro Sustainable High Yield Fund, and the benchmark index will be the Bloomberg-Barclays Capital Euro High Yield 3% Issuer Capped Index.
The amendment of the regulations will not have any impact on the fund’s fees.
Unit holders are not required to take any action in conjunction with the aforementioned amendments. Danske Invest Fund Management Ltd also informs fund unit holders of the amendment of the regulations on its website at www.danskeinvest.fi.
