Fund mergers in Danske Invest funds
The mergers will be implemented on 19 November 2020 and will not require any action from the unit holders.
Danske Invest Fund Management Ltd is seeking to streamline its selection of funds registered in Finland. The mergers, which were approved by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority on 2 September 2020, will be implemented on 19 November 2020 and concern the following investment funds:

The objective of the mergers is to increase the average size of the funds by decreasing the number of funds that are of less interest to customers. This will improve the efficiency of both administration and portfolio management.
The mergers do not require any action from the unit holders and do not affect taxation for unit holders who are subject to general taxability in Finland.
The unit holders have the right to redeem or exchange their units in the funds without paying a redemption or exchange fee by requesting this by Wednesday 18 November 2020 at the latest, before the cut-off time according to the statutes of the fund. The redemption and switch will entail the normal tax consequences. After the merger, the fund regulations, investment policy and fees of the acquiring fund will be applied.
